💥 From September 7 to 13, units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine struck a number of important enemy targets across the territory of the russian federation and the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine. This time, some targets were hit at a distance of more than 3,000 kilometers from the Ukrainian border.
🔥 First and foremost, targets belonging to the oil refining and petrochemical industries were struck.
On September 9, the Novy Urengoy Gas Condensate Processing Plant (Novourengoysky ZPKT) was hit in Novy Urengoy, Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, russian federation. The facility has an annual gas condensate processing capacity of approximately 19.5 million tonnes. Its products are used, among other purposes, to meet the needs of the russian armed forces. The target was located more than 3,000 kilometers from the Ukrainian border.
During the night of September 11, the Saratov Oil Refinery was hit. The facility has an annual crude oil processing capacity of approximately 7 million tonnes and contributes to supplying the russian armed forces with fuel and lubricants. The ELZU-AVT-6 atmospheric-vacuum distillation unit and a section of the main oil pipeline were damaged.
During the night of September 13, the Slavyansky Oil Refinery in Slavyansk-on-Kuban, Krasnodar Krai, russian federation, was hit. The facility has an annual crude oil processing capacity of approximately 5.2 million tonnes. The refinery is involved in meeting the fuel requirements of the russian armed forces.
At the same time, the TANECO Oil Refinery in Nizhnekamsk, Republic of Tatarstan, was hit, with a fire reported at one of the storage tanks.
The Tolyattikauchuk petrochemical plant in Samara Oblast, russian federation, was also hit. The facility produces synthetic rubber, monomers, and other products used, among other purposes, in the production of solid rocket propellant for tactical and ballistic missiles.
In Snizhne, Donetsk Oblast, the Snizhne Machine-Building Plant was hit. The facility specializes in manufacturing components for gas-turbine engines, including compressor and turbine disks and blades. The enterprise is used by russia’s defense industry to manufacture military-related products, including components for aircraft engines.
⚓️ Another important area of focus is the enemy’s naval and port infrastructure.
During the night of September 9, the Novorossiysk Naval Base in Novorossiysk, Krasnodar Krai, russian federation, was hit. Fires were reported at the base and at the fuel oil terminal of the seaport, while explosions were confirmed in areas where naval vessels are based.
The destruction of fuel oil storage facilities in Novorossiysk was confirmed, as well as damage to at least three enemy vessels: the Zheleznyakov-class small naval minesweeper, the Admiral Essen frigate, and the Project 11711 large landing ship Pyotr Morgunov.
During the night of September 10, the Makhachkala Commercial Seaport in the Republic of Dagestan, russian federation, was hit. The port plays a key role in the Russia–Iran logistics corridor across the Caspian Sea, which is used to circumvent Western sanctions. Military-related supplies are transported in both directions along this route: components and Shahed-type attack UAVs from Iran to russia, and explosives, components for unmanned systems, and ammunition from russia to Iran.
A Project 12150 Mangust-class high-speed patrol boat was also hit in Sevastopol’s Kozacha Bay.
🛡️ Another area of focus is the systematic destruction of the enemy’s air defense, radar, electronic intelligence, and command-and-control assets.
In Taganrog, Rostov Oblast, russian federation, two Pantsir-S1 surface-to-air missile and gun systems were hit.
In Bryansk Oblast, three enemy radar stations were hit in Pavlino, Kartushino, and Antonivka, including a Nebo-SV radar system.
Other enemy radar stations, air defense assets, electronic intelligence and communications systems were also struck across the territory of the russian federation and the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.
⚡️ Throughout the week, significant attention was also focused on destroying the infrastructure used to launch the enemy’s attack UAVs.
In Millerovo, Rostov Oblast, russian federation, as well as in the city of Donetsk and other areas, sites used for the storage, preparation, and launch of attack UAVs were hit. In Petropavlivka, Luhansk Oblast, a UAV operator training center belonging to the Akhmat unit was hit. The center specializes in training FPV drone operators and operators of other unmanned systems.
Throughout the week, a number of other facilities associated with the enemy’s attack UAV infrastructure were also hit in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine and across the territory of the russian federation.
⚡️ In the area of Vladyslavivka in temporarily occupied Crimea, a railway bridge over the North Crimean Canal was hit. The enemy uses the bridge to support its military logistics.
⚡️ The Defense Forces of Ukraine are systematically degrading the enemy’s capabilities to continue its armed aggression against Ukraine.
