⚡️⚡️ On 9th September 2026, units of the Defence Forces of Ukraine struck the Novy Urengoy Gas Condensate Processing Plant in Novy Urengoy, Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, russian federation.
The extent of the damage is being assessed.
ℹ️ Background. The Novy Urengoy Gas Condensate Processing Plant is a gas condensate processing facility with an annual processing capacity of approximately 19,5 million tonnes. It produces stabilised gas condensate, petroleum fractions, diesel fuel and other petroleum products. Its products are used, among other purposes, to meet the needs of the russian armed forces.
Operations against key enemy military targets are ongoing.
