💥 From 14th to 20th September, units of the Defence Forces of Ukraine struck a number of important enemy targets in the russian federation and temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.
🔥 First and foremost — facilities contributing to russia’s military and economic potential.
During the night of 15th September, the Syzran Oil Refinery in Samara region, russian federation, was hit. The AVT-6 primary crude oil distillation unit and the tank farm were hit.
In Taganrog, Rostov region, russian federation, the Atlant Aero facility, which produces Molniya strike and reconnaissance UAVs and components for Orion UAVs, was also hit.
During the night of 17th September, the Slavneft-YANOS Oil Refinery in Yaroslavl was hit. The facility has an annual refining capacity of approximately 15 million tonnes of crude oil. The AVT-3 primary crude oil distillation unit was hit.
On 20th September, the Gazpromneft-Moscow Oil Refinery in Moscow was hit. The AVT-6 primary crude oil distillation unit, the integrated crude oil processing unit and the isomerisation unit were hit.
As of 21st September 2026, following the strike on the Moscow Oil Refinery, more than 45% of russia’s projected oil refining capacity has been put out of operation.
One of the consequences is a shortage of quality fuel in the russian federation. Among other things, there has been a sharp decline in the production of Euro-5/K5 standard petrol and diesel fuel.
🛡️ Another focus has been the systematic targeting of air defence systems, radars, electronic warfare systems and command and control assets.
In particular, a 92N6 radar of the S-400 Triumf system was hit in Sochi. Two S-400 launchers were hit in the area of Vyhonychi, Bryansk region, russian federation, while a Buk-M3 surface-to-air missile system was hit in the area of Ukrainka, Zaporizhzhia region. A Nebo-U radar station was hit in Donetsk region. Electronic warfare systems, radar stations and repeaters were also hit in Bryansk region.
🛰️ Significant attention was also focused on the infrastructure supporting the occupiers’ attack UAVs. Sites used for the storage, preparation, launch and production of UAVs were hit in the areas of Donetsk, Kursk and Sievierodonetsk. At the Saky airfield, an Orion UAV ground control station was hit. Numerous UAV command posts of the russian aggressor were also hit.
✈️ At the Rostov-on-Don (Central) airfield, two An-26 aircraft, an An-12 aircraft and three helicopters were hit. At the Saky airfield, a Su-24 aircraft was hit.
💥 Throughout the week, Ukrainian forces also struck the occupiers’ ammunition depots, fuel and lubricants storage facilities, and materiel depots.
Strikes against such facilities of the russian aggressor are an exercise of Ukraine’s inherent right to self-defence under Article 51 of the UN Charter and are aimed at reducing the military and economic potential of the russian federation.
