The destruction of two enemy Su-34 aircraft at Marinovka airfield, in the area of Oktyabrsky, Volgograd Oblast, russia, on 29 October 2026 has been confirmed following a strike by missile troops – specifically, Neptune coastal missile systems of the Ukrainian Navy.
The Su-34 fighter-bomber is the main platform for dropping guided aerial bombs (KABs). It can carry up to 8 tonnes of ordnance.
The market value of one Su-34 is about USD 50 million.
The destruction of such aircraft reduces the enemy’s ability to strike Ukraine’s frontline areas, civilian infrastructure and our warriors’ forward positions with KABs.
