Three key facilities involved in missile production hit

⚡️⚡️ During the night of 25th September 2026, the NPP Zavod Iskra facility in Ulyanovsk, Ulyanovsk region, russian federation, was hit.

ℹ️ Background. JSC NPP Zavod Iskra is part of the Almaz-Antey Aerospace and Defence Concern and is a russian defence industry enterprise. It specialises in the production of semiconductor devices and electronic components for defence industry enterprises.

The facility produces electronic components for manufacturers of radio-electronic equipment, measurement and communications systems, and specialised equipment. As part of industrial cooperation, it is involved in the production of Kh-59M2/M2A guided air-launched missiles and components for the 72V6 Pantsir-S1 anti-aircraft gun-missile system and its modifications.

⚡️ In addition, the Efremov Synthetic Rubber Plant in Efremov, Tula region, and Voronezhsintezkauchuk in the area of Voronezh, Voronezh region, were hit.

Both facilities are involved in the production of solid rocket propellant, including for Iskander ballistic missiles.

⚡️ Strikes against such facilities are an exercise of Ukraine’s inherent right to self-defence under Article 51 of the UN Charter and are aimed at reducing the military and economic potential of the russian federation.
