Сьогодні виконувач обов’язків Міністра оборони Євгеній Хмара представив керівному складу Генерального штабу Збройних Сил України нових Головнокомандувача ЗС України генерал-майора Михайла Драпатого та начальника Генерального штабу ЗС України генерал-майора Ігоря Скибюка.
Очільник Міністерства оборони подякував генералу Олександру Сирському та генерал-лейтенанту Андрію Гнатову за їхню роботу у складний для країни час.
Генерал-майор Михайло Драпатий наголосив на великій відповідальності та викликах, які стоять перед ним і всім українським військом в ході відбиття широкомасштабного вторгнення рф.
За його словами, робота на результат вимагає максимальної згуртованості.
Своїми пріоритетами він назвав нарощення спроможностей ППО для кращого захисту повітряного простору країни, розвиток та масштабування безпілотної складової, підвищення летальності ураження противника, усунення зайвої бюрократії. А в роботі з особовим складом – акцент на компетентності та людяності.
“У нас вірять люди, і ми не повинні їх підвести”, – сказав Головнокомандувач Збройних Сил України.
Today, Acting Minister of Defence Yevhenii Khmara introduced the newly appointed Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Major General Mykhailo Drapatyi, and the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Major General Ihor Skybiuk, to the senior leadership of the General Staff.
The head of the Ministry of Defence expressed his gratitude to General Oleksandr Syrskyi and Lieutenant General Andrii Hnatov for their service during a critical period for the nation.
Major General Mykhailo Drapatyi underscored the immense responsibility and challenges confronting him and the entire Ukrainian military in repelling the Russian Federation’s full-scale invasion.
He noted that achieving results demands maximum cohesion and unity of effort.
The Commander-in-Chief outlined his top priorities, including strengthening air defence capabilities to better protect the nation's airspace, advancing and scaling unmanned systems, increasing lethality against enemy forces, and streamlining bureaucratic processes. Regarding personnel management, he emphasized competence and a human-centric approach.
“The people trust us, and we must not let them down,” stated the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
