⚡️🇺🇦🇫🇷 Головнокомандувач Збройних Сил України генерал Олександр Сирський зустрівся із французькою військовою делегацією на чолі з Головнокомандувачем Збройних Сил Франції генералом Фаб’єном Мандоном.
Сторони обговорили ситуацію на фронті, актуальні потреби українського війська та подальше посилення співпраці. Франція залишається одним із ключових партнерів України — зокрема, в межах Коаліції охочих і галузевих коаліцій із ППО, авіації, артилерії та підготовки військовослужбовців.
"росія демонструє неготовність зупиняти війну й свідомо продовжує наступальні дії. Водночас ми щоденно знищуємо її живу силу та техніку, зриваємо плани й утримуємо позиції. Попри колосальні втрати й надзусилля, армія рф не досягає суттєвих оперативних результатів", — наголосив генерал Олександр Сирський.
Головнокомандувач ЗС України подякував генералу Фаб’єну Мандону, уряду та народу Франції за стійку політичну й військову підтримку України.
Символічним завершенням зустрічі стало вручення генералу Олександру Сирському Ордена Почесного легіону — найвищої державної нагороди Франції, яка присуджується главою держави за виняткові військові або цивільні заслуги.
Від імені Президента Емманюеля Макрона нагороду вручив генерал Фаб’єн Мандон.
⚡️🇫🇷🇺🇦 The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine General Oleksandr Syrskyi held a meeting with a French military delegation led by the Chief of the Defence Staff of the French Armed Forces General Fabien Mandon.
The sides discussed the situation on the frontline, the current needs of the Ukrainian military, and further strengthening of cooperation. France remains one of Ukraine’s key partners, particularly within the Coalition of the Willing and capability coalitions on air defence, aviation, artillery and the training of servicemembers.
“russia demonstrates an unwillingness to end the war and deliberately continues its offensive actions. At the same time, we destroy its personnel and equipment on a daily basis, disrupt its plans, and hold our positions. Despite massive losses and extraordinary efforts, the russian army is failing to achieve any significant operational results,” General Oleksandr Syrskyi emphasised.
The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine expressed his gratitude to General Fabien Mandon, as well as to the Government and the people of France, for their steadfast political and military support for Ukraine.
The symbolic conclusion of the meeting was the presentation of the Order of the Legion of Honour to General Oleksandr Syrskyi, the highest state award of France, honoured by the Head of State for exceptional military or civil merit.
On behalf of President Emmanuel Macron, the award was presented by General Fabien Mandon.
